PABLO GIGNOLI

Pablo Gignoli, Argentinian composer, arranger and bandoneon player, has been living in France since 2012.
He stands out mainly as a composer and performer in TAXXI Tango XXI and the piano and bandoneon duo Volco & Gignoli.
In 2005 he debuted with the Fernández Fierro Orchestra and in 2010 he founded the quartet Derrotas Cadenas. These groups were crucial in consolidating him as a reference for tango in the 21st century, rooted in tradition but always committed to progress.
He also focuses his work with the great singer Walter ‘El Chino’ Laborde, with whom he has worked in the Fernandez Fierro Orchestra, with TAXXI Tango XXI and with whom he has released two albums, Hotel Amour (2022) and Mythes du Tango (2023).
Between 2015 and 2020 he collaborated with Mueller & Makaroff (Gotan Project) as an arranger in the Orchestre Plaza Francia with Catherine Ringer (Les Rita Mitsouko) and as a bandoneon player with Benjamin Biolay during his ‘Palermo Hollywood’ tour.
In 2025 Gignoli is presenting his album Después de la Tormenta, where in addition to his role as bandoneonist and composer, he is in charge of guitars, synthesizers and vocal parts.
